Meet Olivia, a current marketing intern at SG Fleet 2024. Working with the Marketing, Sales Development, and Digital Marketing teams appealed to Olivia as it provides her with an opportunity to apply the marketing skills she studied at university in a real workplace environment.
Olivia is about to complete a Bachelor of Marketing and Media at the Macquarie University Business School.
I am a marketing intern with a particular interest in digital marketing. I have completed a range of engaging tasks, including content creation for future newsletters, and the analysis of digital platforms. I also attended onsite activations, where I had the opportunity to meet SG Fleet customers. Being able to answer their questions about SG Fleet and novated leasing, and generating brand awareness have helped me build my confidence and social skills..
I highly enjoyed the opportunity to work with different people in SG Fleet’s marketing department. Completing different tasks for different managers and team members gave me a wider perspective on what I may choose to specialise in later in my career. I also found the flexibility of working part-time at SG Fleet whilst studying full-time to be very helpful.
